Our music is a mix of southern rock, Texas boogie, country rock and blues. Our sound is a blend of many influences with roots that all come down from the crossroads. We don't really fit one genre or another so we just call it ... Progressive Southern Blues & Rock, but you can just call us the Anthony Wright Band!
The driving force of the band is a fiery guitarist from south Texas. Anthony Wright shreds on guitar, delivers powerful vocals, writes original music and is simply - the real deal! No gimmicks, no pretense or interest in following the crowd. When Anthony comes to play, it's serious business!
Behind the scene are some players that also know how to turn things up. Much like a south Texas heat wave, when these guys start cooking, you know it's going to get hot! Together, the Anthony Wright Band is a formidable force that is making their mark and making their own brand of blues-infused music.
